Hoje venho-vos falar das minhas mais recentes aquisições em maquilhagem, que me foram oferecidas pela minha prima que os trouxe da Alemanha ( que btw também tem um blog, vão lá visitar: We Agree To Disagree). Estes produtos são da Nyx, uma marca que para já não existe em Portugal, no entanto vai abrir brevemente uma loja da marca em Almada.
Um deles é uma paleta de contouring, que é tão falado agora, devido às várias técnicas que existem de contorno, e o outro é um batom líquido de efeito matte.

NYX Highlight & Countour Palette
Eu sempre quis ter uma paleta de contorno, experimentar e ver se realmente fazia alguma diferença na minha face. Primeiro, para ter um bom resultado é necessário usares um bom pincel. O pincel que eu uso para fazer o contorno e iluminação é um pincel que comprei na Primark ( que não é o que estou a utilizar nas fotos em que me maquilho, mas sim o outro que está de seguida) , que foi super barato, e tem duas extremidades, uma para usar com as sombras do countour (as mais escuras), e outra para usar nas sombras de iluminação da face ( as mais claras).

I've always wanted to have a contouring palette, try and see if it would make any difference in my face. First, to get nice results, it's necessary to use a good brush. The brush I use to do contouring and highlighting is a brush I've bought in Primark (which it's not the one I'm using on the photos when I'm doing my makeup, but xxx ), that was super cheap, and has to sides, one for contour and one for highlighter.
Fiquei muito satisfeita com o resultado que obti com esta paleta, apesar de achar que ela é demais para o efeito que eu normalmente quero obter, que é uma maquilhagem natural e não muito exagerada, pois esta paleta é mais utilizada por maquilhadoras profissionais, por possuir vários tons, dos quais eu não necessito. Nesta paleta eu só utilizo no máximo quatro tonalidades na minha face: dois para contornar e dois para iluminar.

I was very happy with the results that I got with this palette, even though I think it's too much for the look I usually get, which is a natural makeup and not very over the top, since this palette is used by pro makeup artists, for having so many tones, of which I don't need. In this palette I only use 4 tone, max : 2 for contouring and 2 for highlighting.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream
O batom"Soft Matte Lip Cream" da NYX é um batom líquido, no entanto, ao contrário da maior parte dos batões líquidos não tem brilho, mas sim possui um efeito matte. Confesso que estava com um pouco de receio deste batom, pois a maior parte dos batões matte, e por experiência própria, costumam secar imenso os lábios, e isso a mim não me favorece nada visto que os meus lábios são muito desidratados. No entanto, este batom da NYX surpreendeu-me pela positiva, pois não seca nada os lábios, e dá um efeito matte super bonito. Para além destas vantagens, a cor que escolhi ( 01) é super bonita e viva agora para o Verão e faz os meus lábios parecerem super delineados e realçados.
O único "contra" deste batom é que é precisa uma precisão muito grande para conseguires pintar os teus lábios sem pintares fora e borratares. Outra coisa que para mim não é um "contra", mas que para muitas raparigas isso as incomoda, este batom líquido tem sabor e cheiro. Muito bom, diga-se de passagem!

''Soft Matte Lip Cream'' is as liquid lipstick, however, unlike most of liquid lipsticks, it doesn't shine, it has matte effect. I confess I was a little bit afraid of it, since most of matte lipsticks, talking from my own experience, use to dry the lips a lot, and that doesn't complements me very much, since my lips are already very dehydrated. However, this lipstick from Nyx suprised me positively, since it doesn't dry my lips and it gives a very beautiful matte effect. Besides that, the color I picked (01) é super gorgeous and vivid for the summer and it makes my lips look very plump.
The only con of this lipstick is the fact that you need to be very precise in order to not paint it wrong. Other thing, that to me is not a problem but for some girls is, is the fact that it has taste/smell, but it's actually really good.
